I swam competitively throughout my youth and before setting up my swim school I taught for many years in Africa (in between having a family) which was where my love of teaching began, so on my return to the UK, with the children now at school, it seemed like the natural thing to do.

I have a dedicated team of ASA qualified teachers and assistants (many of whom have been with me throughout the 25 years), I couldn't have run my swim school without them.

We continue to go from strength to strength running our all round programme which includes a lifesaving week every term where children and adults learn resuscitation, lifesaving and survival skills. The Royal Lifesaving Society has acknowledged our commitment by awarding us certificates for continuing this programme over so many years.

Three of my pupils, one as young as five years old, each saved someone's life and have all been awarded a special prize by the RLSS. We are very proud of our pupils, well done.
